Addison Grove is within a popular area of
Chiswick known as Bedford Park.
General Summary
Considered to be the most desirable residential area in Chiswick and one of the most desirable in West London.
Bedford Park offers a blend of timeless traditional architecture with an artistic flair. Its tree lined streets have been enjoyed by many famous people
W.B. Yeats, William Terris, Florence Farr, and
Camille Pissarro.
Local History
Bedford Park, long considered a prototype for later garden cities and suburbs, owes its origin to the
Aesthetic Movement of the 1870’s. In 1875 Jonathan Carr purchased 24 acres of land and commissioned E.W.Godwin and Coe & Robinson to build
Phase I (1875-1876). In 1877
Norman Shaw was commissioned as the estate architect and created most of the architectural character that we appreciate today.
Phase II (1877-1879)
In 1880 more land was purchased by Carr. Shaw’s protégé
E.J.May completed
Phase III between 1880 and 1886.

OliverFinn recognises that many London Estate agents are a throwback to a bygone era. Walnut desks, paper applicant records, red socks, Golf GTi's and making assumptions that you have the time to start their search for a new home by looking in shop windows. Nowadays property searches start online. That's a fact. Leading property guru's state that over 95% of us begin looking for London property via websites. So why ask you to subliminally pay for us to sit in a fish bowl on a High Road?
We believe the high street should be the preserve of the butcher, baker and (scented) candlestick maker. We base ourselves in normal offices; all staffed with experts who know their local market inside out and are always ready to provide the best advice and service.
At the heart of our business is our commitment to deliver complete transparency in our service and true value for money. That's why we charge
fixed fees no matter what the size or value of your home. Goodbye Big Fees. Hello fixed Fees.
We don't stop there.
Most London Estate agents bang on about providing a good service but at OliverFinn we go further. We provide you with a choice of services designed to suit your individual needs, which is why we offer you on option to choose between OliverFinn Direct, OliverFinn Plus and OliverFinn Premier. All tailored to meet your exacting needs, allowing you to adjust how much involvement you wish to have in the process.
The energy and commitment provided by the OliverFinn team is always consistent regardless of your chosen service.
At OliverFinn we are proud about what we have achieved to date but still think our industry has a long way to go to truly meet ours and your expectations. Please be assured we are working on new ideas everyday and welcome any suggestions from you. We love to innovate.
