This year's Bedford Park Festival in Chiswick will run from 7 - 22 June. It has evolved into one of London's best summer community events, attracting thousands of people from W4 and further afield in West London. Residents and local businesses support this two-week long event. It celebrates the arts, raises money for local charities and for the work of St Michael & All Angels Church.
The Festival is kicked off by 'Green Days weekend'. Attractions include a bake-off, photography, music and performance and competitions. A host of other community events include an art exhibition, treasure hunt, poetry, talks and walks. Here is the
full programme.
How to
get involved. The two-week event relies on the time and support given by local people and businesses. Volunteers are welcome to help for a couple of hours or for the full two weeks.
Many events can be booked in advance and
booking is now open for all events. Last year several events sold out, so book your tickets sooner rather than later.
