Chiswick Mall gardens open for charity

May 28, 2015
Chiswick riverside offers three very different gardens to visit on Sunday 31 May. An informal walled garden with herbaceous borders, fruit trees and small vegetable garden. An Eastern inspired water garden with exotic and unusual planting. And an end of terrace inner city garden with wisteria, Canary Bird Rosa, and two lovingly maintained lawns. The National Gardens Scheme (NGS) opens thousands of beautiful gardens across England and Wales each year, raising millions for nursing and caring charities including Macmillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie. Since its foundation in 1927 the NGS has donated more than £45 million to its nominated beneficiaries and partners. In addition, individual gardens have given away more than £4 million in small donations directly to local charities of their choice. Opening information: Sunday 31 May 2015 (2 - 6pm). Admission £6.00, child free. Tea at Eyot Gardens. The gardens are at: 16 Eyot Gardens | Field House | Swan House
