Elm Crescent is situated in the locality of Ealing Common, within the area of Ealing. Ealing Common preserves 47 acres of open space with fine avenues of horse chestnut trees, most of which were planted in the late Victorian period whilst under the control of the borough surveyor, Charles Jones. All Saints' church was built in 1905 as a memorial to Britain's only assassinated Prime Minister, Spencer Perceval. Throughout most of the twentieth century, it has been faithfully served by the local community around Ealing Common. The area became a conservation area in 1982 and extended in 2004 designed to preserve the area’s original design.
