Did you know that some of London’s most famous buildings are open to the public this weekend? Once a year, Londoners can peek behind the closed doors of some of the capital's biggest, most famous and most secret venues for free.
When?
Open House London is on Saturday September 17 and Sunday September 18 2016.
Where? The event is taking place in over 30 boroughs across the capital (including
Hounslow and
Ealing) in over 800 venues not normally open to the public.
Why? It's an annual celebration of London's architecture and design and includes private homes, government buildings and historic sites. Take advantage of a variety of walks and tours to bring the buildings alive.
How much? Free of charge - yes really. Some of the popular events need to be pre-booked, but otherwise you can just turn up.
