Foster Books has been trading here for over 50 years and specialises in hard to find, rare and out-of-print books.

The prices range from a few pounds to thousands of pounds depending on scarcity, demand, condition and completeness of the volume.

Weather permitting, tables outside the shop are piled with paperbacks, maps and assorted paraphernalia giving it the air of a Dickensian curiosity shop.
