According to a survey by Zoopla and Plentific, almost half (47%) of would-be buyers are most influenced by a new kitchen. And more than a quarter (28%) would be prepared to fork out extra and offer a higher price as a result.
Aside from kitchens, contemporary bathrooms tempt 46% of home-hunters and just over a quarter (27%) would be prepared to pay more.
New windows ranked the third most important feature but as motivation for shelling out more hard-earned funds, a new extension was more important to buyers.
