We first contacted Harpers of Chiswick when we decided to view a property through them and initially spoke to Gill.

Although we had a number of valuations on our property, we were fearful of making the wrong decision and hadn't committed to an agent. Gill suggested that we meet Christian (company owner) who would do the viewing himself and could potentially value ours.

We couldn't get over his knowledge of building construction (it transpires he has a 1st class degree in building surveying) and his knowledge of the local area - it all made sense when he said he has lived in Chiswick for over 30 years!

Being both a simultaneous buyer and seller, Christian kept us informed at all stages of the process which was more protracted than expected.

I couldn't recommend this husband and wife team (found this out later) any more if I tried - they were outstanding in every capacity.

Best estate agent I've ever dealt with. Extremely knowledgeable about the local market and reassured us from the first meeting. Every viewing was well qualified and I never felt any were a waste of time, even though it took a few to find our buyer. I firmly believe that Christian's extensive knowledge of the local market made the difference. Something you don't always get from some of the bigger high street agencies. We ended up accepting an offer at our asking price. In my eyes, it's from then on that an estate agent earns their fee.

Christian and his team were incredibly communicative and guided us through the process brilliantly. They weren't afraid to push us a little when needed and keep the sale moving on, I presume that was the case with all the parties involved. I am still in contact with the buyer and both of us were very happy with the end result.

I feel I'm gushing a bit in this review, but my wife and I were just so happy with what could have been a far more taxing and stressful experience. A big thank you to Christian and his team. I can't recommend highly enough.

It's an uneasy feeling appointing any estate agent. They all talk the talk but, actually, to them you are just a lottery number that may or may not come up. That was not my experience with Harper's of Chiswick who address you as an individual and roll the dice in your favour.
